I really like these Lights! I have them Hanging up in the living room! As you can see, but the plug in jack, there is a little white box. There are 8 different settings you can put the lights on. 1. Combination. 2. In Waves. 3. Sequential.. 4. Slo Glo. 5, Chasing/flash. 6. Slow Fade. 7. Twinkle/Flash. And 8. Steady on! I Love the Different settings based on different moods that you are in. Sometimes the Twinkle one can be a little too Flashy, that if someone you know has Seizures, I would not reccomand that setting. The problem I did find was these lights have crystal balls attached. I noticed that they are just glued on, so I have noticed that when Handling the lights, a few of the balls have fallen off, but i just hot glued them back on, But I don't know if maybe the glue that was put on there before was just old or if maybe they UPS handler was a little too rough with the package.
