My dog, Piper, Is a big barker. High pitched barks! When I got asked to review this product, I was very excited! The product had listed that this dog bark Collar was for dogs 8-13 pounds or so. Piper is 9 1/2 pounds. the Collar was loose on her. I found a way to tie it, so it works on her. It was working when she barked, but it was so loose that it wasn't really affecting her when should bark! I was nervous that this was going to be a SHOCK Collar, but thankfully it's just Vibrating. I didn't want to hurt her, but I needed to find a way to stop her from barking so much! One of the great things I like about this, is it's not an instant Vibration. It beeps 3 times, to try and calm the pup down and after 3 beeps, the vibration will go off. The beeps occur after every Bark, so there is a little time in between! There is also a dial on the side of the beeper. You can adjust the vibration setting! So, That's also a perk I love about it. Piper doesn't seem to like the Bark Collar, but she doesn't seem to really mind it when it's on. I took the collar off of her, and when she starts to bark a lot more, then I grab the collar and show her and tell her NO, and she stops herself. So Whether wearing the collar, or showing the dog the Collar, it works either way! I also Love the color! MINT! I don't think it comes in any other Color, but Mint is perfect.
